- You can install Fedora on the Playstation 3 using the code found here:

Within Linux you have full access to USB (DVD-burner, printer) and Blu-ray drive and also access to Ethernet-, Bluetooth-, WLAN- and Audio-interfaces.Labels: ps3 linux

Hey. I nstalled Fedora. In short, it sux. More specifically, it's really slow, as the PS3 doesn't have a lot of RAM. If yer hoping to run VLC and play ur .mkv files, forget it. It chokes on 480x640 low res avi's!

I got linux loaded using petitboot and ubuntu ppc 9.10 I loaded petitboot 1st with the other os .bld file the one from the guys site the 2nd one
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/geoff/cell/ps3-petitboot/ps3-petitboot-09.06.24.bld
then put the ubuntu 9.10 iso ppc in to the drive and rebooted then choose 1st option from petitboot then it loaded but remember CHOOSE
OEM install this will make shure you to it correctly it chooses every thing right remember to install desktop and all stuff..
I guess i got lucky ..
I got 2600 and atari 800 emulation working also got castles of camelot working w firefox cause it dont use flash.
